Marianna Ricketson, Ed Tech

Ms. Ricketson
Born on the South Pacific island of Guam to a teacher and a US Peace Corps national, teaching was written in my destiny far before I could ever have known it. I have lived all over the US and the South Pacific. I simply love to travel and have been to many US states and countries including Fiji (where my mom is from), Greece, Italy, France, Australia, Tahiti, New Zealand, Western Samoa, UAE, India, Egypt, Guam, Canada, and the UK. I have a wonderful son who attends Eanes Elementary and being a mom is by far, my favorite job!
My undergrad is in Elementary Education, PreK-8th grade from Purdue University and my Master's is from Columbia University in Instructional Technology. I have taught in Indiana, New York, Connecticut, California and Texas in both public and private school settings. I have been teaching since 1998 and in Eanes ISD since the 2002-3 school year. I started my Eanes ISD career at West Ridge Middle School as the Campus Tech Coordinator and then joined the Bridge Point Elementary team in 2009 as an Instructional Technology Coach, aka Ed Tech until 2018. I'm so very happy to have transferred to Eanes Elementary this year to be the Ed Tech here! My love is learning and my most expensive hobby is teaching!
