Formative assessment is the process of checking in with students to get their feedback about their learning and understanding of a topic or opinions in order to guide instruction. A quick way to informally assess your students is by using Padlet. In this example, Ms. Bennett set up a Padlet wall for her 3rd graders and had them check in with a guiding question.
