Using Apple's new Apple ID U13 Kiosk feature, many parents were able to set up their kindergartner's Apple ID before school started. However, we still had to individually enroll over 100 iPads into the Jamf server. This server is responsible for distributing paid and free apps to our iPads. A little tough to do with five year olds! But with the help of third and fifth graders as well as our tech staff, our kinders finally received their iPads and happily took their first selfies. Say cheese!
First day of school, first lost tooth, first haircut, and FIRST SELFIE? Boy, how times have changed! This year was the first school year that our school district had iPads follow our students. That meant that our kindergartners received iPads from our graduating seniors.
